2016 Clark County Parade of Homes Celebrates Outdoor Living

2016 Clark County Parade of Homes

We always enjoy the Clark County Parade of Homes for new ideas and designs that complement our ever-changing lifestyles. This year is especially enjoyable because the theme is a lifestyle that resonates with us - country estates and living with nature as neighbors.  Homes with acreage have the advantage of featuring nature and privacy - the ultimate luxuries.

As more consumers value outdoors as a part of their lifestyles, more builders are featuring nature as an extension of the home.  Decks with views, patios with fireplaces, even fully-furnished outdoor kitchens are extremely popular. It's a recognition that our home is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of today's busy world, and if we can enjoy natural surroundings - that's a bonus. Yesterday's demand for a media room has become today's need for an outdoor room.

The Parade of Homes opened Sept 16th and runs through Oct 2 on Carty Rd in Ridgefield, WA.  All homes sit on acreage, and are larger than 3,000 SqFt - a unique opportunity for builders to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. This coming Sunday, Sept 25 is Family Day at the Parade, and features special events for kids and parents from 11:00 am to 2 pm.

Whether it's a simple patio under the trees, surrounded by Adirondack chairs, or a full-blown open-air living space, outdoor rooms are a great way to sit and enjoy natural surroundings. Especially if you have the luxury of Nature as Neighbors!

ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.

Hello Debb and Bernie, for many, outdoor space is just as important as the indoor space. Parade of Homes is a great event to be part of and get some ideas. Have a great Wednesday!

That is a very nice looking space with great views.  We have too much cold to make something like that practical

Hi Debb & Bernie - How nice that the theme of the Parade of Homes resonates so well with your branding. Blurring the lines between indoors and out is becoming a very popular design feature.

How cool to have a Parade of Homes, and especially one featuring homes that fit so well with your business and interests. That's a beautiful outdoor space.
