While Mount Hood is physically located across the Columbia River in Oregon, its majestic peaks are the backdrop for many ViewHomes of Clark County™. The eroding glaciers that formed the Columbia Gorge left craggy peaks and promontories overlooking the entire region.
We are fortunate that, with so many hills, plateaus and highlands, Mount Hood will suddenly grace us with its appearance in the background. Sometimes it’s bright and shiny, showing its jagged ridges and glistening snow-covered peaks. Sometimes it’s more subtle with soft watercolors and hazy shadows that reflect the early morning sky – just as it was this early morning from a hillside in Camas, WA.
If you'd like to learn more about ViewHomes of Clark County and the joys of Nature As Neighbors, just give us a call.
ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.

Good morning, Debb and Bernie --- what a wonderful description you have provided of Mount Hood. From vibrant to more subtle colors --- what a great way to start a day.
Debb and Bernie
That would be a joy to see no matter what the colors are. How fortunate you are to offer such a view that probably changes all the time!
Enjoy your weekend!

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD ... what an amazing view you share here. I've never been to your area of the country. Not because I haven't wanted to, but it just hasn't happened ... YET! Your pic certainly increases my desire to make travel plans ...

Debb and Bernie,
I love Gene Mundt, IL/WI Mortgage Originator - FHA/VA/Conv/Jumbo/Portfolio/Refi 's comment. The view is superb, and what a jjoy to have that every day. A
Beautiful picture of Mt. Hood. The fact that your view of it comes and goes, bright or muted, makes it that much more appealing. That's what the fog on San Francisco Bay does for me.
WOW! That is a gorgeous photo Debb. So sorry you have to wake up to that every day.....not!
Hi Debb - I could certainly get used to looking at that from my deck. Mt. Hood is gorgeous - I've skied there several times, and done some hiking in the area.
Thank you very much for sharing your photograph. Have an outstanding week with your camera in hand.
Debb & Bernie, what a view, and you are lucky to have this every day! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD The cascades have so many majestic peaks. I really love that area around Mt Hood. Thanks for sharing.
Good afternoon Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD , Mt. Hood, definately is a striking part of your landscape. I thought it was in Washington. Thanks for correcting my thoughts and sharing your photo.
Such a beautiful picture! I'm in south Alabama, so no mountains at all. I can only imagine how gorgeous it must be in person.
